J. Zukur - Handmade items as unique as you

My handmade fashion aims to celebrate artistry, individuality, and sustainable craftsmanship. Each piece I create reflects a dedication to meticulous detail, blending timeless techniques with contemporary designs to create truly unique garments and accessories. I believe fashion is a personal statement which is why I emphasize quality over quantity. I only offer limited-edition items that stand apart from mass-produced apparel. By prioritizing ethical sourcing and sustainable materials, I ensure the integrity of my creations while contributing to a more thoughtful and responsible fashion industry. With every day wear and versatility in mind, my handmade designs invite you to embrace your authenticity and wear your style with pride.

How it all began

Since my early childhood, I have been drawing and sewing. What began as designing outfits for my dolls quickly evolved into creating custom clothes for friends by the time I finished school. During fashion school, I began designing and sewing wedding dresses which kept me happily occupied for years.

But my creative journey took an exciting turn when I combined my love for art and sewing by printing my original drawings onto T-shirts. As always, my friends were the first to try them, and their encouragement inspired me to share my work with a wider audience. When those T-shirts sparked requests for skirts, trousers, and more, I expanded my designs to create a diverse collection of clothing. Eventually, I realized my lifelong dream and launched my online store, based in the charming town of Bordighera, Italy, where my passion for handmade fashion continues to thrive.

My fashion style

In my designs, I prefer simplicity with zest and natural fabrics. I like to mix different styles and textures. Personally, I love it when a piece is versatile and can be worn everywhere instead of only once in 5 years for a special occasion. My interest in art inspires my designs and I thrive to make each piece unique. Where I can, I add details by hand. Other than that, I aim to source as locally as possible, so I choose only the highest quality fabrics from. This is also why all items are released in very limited quantities (from 1 to 5 pieces).
